Der Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum ist ein sehr aromatischer und sehr untypischer Jamaikarum. Er besitzt ein intensives und sehr spezielles, an weißen Rhum Agricole erinnerndes Aroma. Er ist, obwohl ziemlich frisch/grasig im Geschmack, eigentlich kein weißer Rum, sondern wurde durch Kohlefiltration entfärbt.

Habe den Fresh Elvis einmal mit und einmal ohne Gurke probiert.

Ohne Gurke ist es halt eine aromenreiche Daiquiri-Variante. Mit Gurke ist er deutlich frischer, aber es fehlt ihm auch an Kraft. Die Balance wird es wohl machen. Also 2 sehr dünne Gurkenscheiben verwenden.

Einer meiner tikilieblinge. Und überhaupt, Chartreuse!

Improved Chartreuse Swizzle
ʉۢ1 1/2oz green Chartreuse
ʉۢ1/4oz Wray and Nephew overproof rum
ʉۢ3/4oz lime juice
ʉۢ1oz pineapple juice
ʉۢ1/2oz falernum
ʉۢnutmeg and mint, for garnish
Swizzle all but the garnishes with the delicate force of a ballerina ice giant. Garnish like you’re an herb goddess.
